Today's comic looks at something that everyone with type 2 fears: insulin. Insulin itself isn't the issue, I think. It is the needles and the poking. It is the myths that insulin is somehow addictive like a narcotic; or that if you take insulin you have somehow failed. Grandma Walnut is just like my dad, or the large number of patients that pass through the office everyday. They fear what can ultimately save them.
